Hey! I'm Thomas – born in 1987, an IT security nerd, a DIY enthusiast with a slight penchant for gadgets, a first-generation Pokémon trainer, and probably someone who's more excited about the Switch 2's Community button than the next tax return. 😄
I founded this shop because I wanted there to be a place for people like us . Not anonymous, not interchangeable—but with soul, humor, and a love for what we do.
🎮 How it all began: with Tekken, Final Fantasy and a Game Boy
My gaming history began with the PlayStation. Tekken 3 was like digital boxing training for my youth—and hey, anyone who mastered Hwoarang or Yoshimitsu back then commanded respect from their peers.
Then came Harvest Moon (yes, laugh if you like – but I LOVE it) and Final Fantasy X , which I still consider to be one of the best games of all time.
The Legend of Zelda is also unforgettable—especially Ocarina of Time , Wind Waker , and Breath of the Wild . I wasn't completely convinced by Tears of the Kingdom —the background was simply too generic and lacked variety.
And then, of course, there was Pokémon Blue – my very first Game Boy game. I played it until the screen was almost burned in. 😄
🧠 My everyday life: Bits, crafts & a portion of nerd culture
I work in IT security – I enjoy understanding complex systems and working with Metasploit (even though it's not quite state-of-the-art anymore).
In my personal life, I like to play around with technology: Smart home with the Raspberry Pi? Yes, please. DIY projects? Also part of it—although sometimes it's more improvisation than planning. 😅
And even though I don't go to LAN parties anymore these days, I regularly meet up with friends for gaming nights. These shared sessions are like little festivals in my living room. That's exactly why I find the idea behind the Community button on the upcoming Switch 2 incredibly exciting. This could really be something for us.
🎨 What inspires me
I don't paint miniatures, but I love visual storytelling.
Epic, dark images. Scenes that trigger emotions. Worlds that draw you in.
That’s why this visual language flows into many of my designs – be it on shirts, prints or collectibles.
This isn't about mass production, but about designs with character . Products that make you think, "Yeah, that's exactly what I need."
🤝 This shop is more than a shop
I want to build a community. A meeting place. A place where people can exchange ideas about games, technology, TV series, DIY, or nerdy projects. And this blog is part of that.
